Currently have a Elite Group 945GCT-M3 mobo. Scans read I have a PCI Express x16.Will (V 2,0( cards run in the slot?

You should not have a problem. As far as I know only some SIS and VIA chipset boards with PCIe 1.0 slots had a problem.
