Whats the deal? would I need to get a new Motherboard if I wanted a Vid card tht is PI Express 16 2.0?

Ok thanks - I am just trying to figure out how to upgrade my rig with the least amount of upgrades to run crysis better...any suggestions?

Improving th GFX card would be a good starter and then go from there to see what else could give you improvements.

PCI express 2.0 supports larger bandwidths, like the old car adage goes, it is more lanes but the same speed cars. I doubt huge differences will be seen but an increase in performance I am sure would be noted.

Yes better gfx card means better gfx.
