Hey,

I've a problem. My motherboard does not support PCIe neither AGP Graphics Cards. Can anyone recommend me a good PCI Graphics Card which I can use to play new games?

Thanks a lot

The best pci card is a x1300.. Can't play new games at all. If you have any hopes of playing newer games you'll have to do a total upgrade..

Oblivian - 1024x768, 32bit, no AA, Triliniear filter... The x1300(probably PCI-Express) gets 8FPS. I seriously doubt it would be playable(certinally not enjoyable) at other resolutions.

.. the x1300 pci can play company of heroes at med quality at a medium res. The link said so airhead. :P

But there's no way that crap card would be worth 130 bucks.. i really do sugest saving up 'tween $600-800 and then coming back to us and we can set you up with a killer(for that price range) rig. Think about it.

I have a X1300 Pro in my office computer and it's nothing special. It wont run games like Rainbow Six: Vegas without hesitation and I know it's not the processor that's the bottleneck. The only thing I can get it to run is Madden and it still freezes after the play is over. Unfortunately if your MoBo doesn't support PCI-E or AGP you're probably going to need to start over. Without that MoBo as a solid backbone you really don't have much to build on. If cost is an issue and you can't swing a full build at once may I suggest buying an off the shelf computer with good CPU and a PCI-Express slot and upgrading the graphics card, PSU, and RAM as you get the money. Rome wasn't built in a day. Good luck!

Yeah, I really don't think it's worth getting a PCI graphics card... If you tell us the RAM and CPU you have we can find you a motherboard that will take what you allready have and will have either AGP or PCI-e slots for you to get a good graphics card. :)

Isn't it possible to get somewhere that missing PCIe slot and to solder it on the Mainboard?

Thanks already for your help.
