PCI network card help

Hi all,
I just finished building my computer and I realized that my mobo doesn't have onboard wifi. Having a corded connection is not an option. I've seen a couple articles about the differences in cards but would like a couple of opinions. My connection is mediocre at best. There are several other computers running on the same router. It's a "N" and a "G" router. What kind should I be looking for?
 
N would give you better network speed and range. G would be cheaper but probably not by much anymore. I personally like to stay away from USB cards if I can. What slots do you have available on your mobo?
