PCI Network card in PCIe SLot?

WIll a PCI network card work in a PCIe Slot? I can't find a cheap PCIe card localy for cheap and I don't really feel like waiting for one to be shipped :confused:

in that case is this one worth 30 bucks? i havnt bought one of these in forever (That is if i ever did by one :D)

It's more than what I would pay for a network card, but we have to realize thats its new technology basically and thats the reason for the cost.

Don't you have an open pci slot though?
 
you konw what, i think i do, this mother board is new to me, ive never had anythign with PCI express XD but i just looked at the specs again and i think there is two PCI slots :D. THanks!
