Geoff VIP Member Dec 5, 2007 #2 They don't use PCI slots in laptops, some have mini-PCI slots but those are mainly used for wireless cards. The general rule of thumb is that if your laptop came with integrated graphics, then it doesn't have a slot for an actual video card.

Geoff VIP Member Dec 5, 2007 #4 I don't believe mini-PCI is capable of being used as a graphics card interface, the main reason being that there is no way to connect a monitor to the card or use the laptop monitor.
