pci slot thingy...

Hey!

Sorry if this is not the right place to post this. I needed a firewire card to transfer my camcorder videos so i bought it. now i dunno where the actual pci slot IS in my coputer. I use an LG. Yes, I am useless. Could anyone help me? Thank you ever so much.

PCI slots are the white ones, it's pretty easy to install a card.

They do make monitors though, which is possibly where that comes from.

Installing PCI cards are pretty foolproof, the only two things to remember is

1. Make sure your PC's switched off at the mains
2. Make sure it's pushed firmly into the slot, but not so hard as to damage the circuitboard.

You'll be good to go.

remember to screw the card in, so it doesnt ever flop around if there are any vibrations or shocks... or if you transport the computer.

LG does make more than monitors they make camcorders, dvd players, tv's other electronics
