PCI Wifi card/adapter

Looking to get a pci wifi card for my old Packard bell imedia.

Notice they come in 54, 150, & 300 mbps.

Do I need any certain bus speeds on the mother board etc to run the faster ones? (Quaser 2 motherboard)

Also I am running windows 7. Do these cards come with drivers and do I need to make sure its compatible with win 7?

USB 1.1.... That is slow.

PCI with 300 Mbps will do.

Alternatively, if you have spare main socket next to router & PC, you can consider powerline adaptor.
