i dont know as much about crossfire but SLI is idealy using identical cards
Ideally yes, but any type of 7600GT can be sli'ed with any other type of 7600GT (i know form experience, what a bad experience was as well)

yeah, "yep,at present 2.0 ain't gonna any frames per second raised." is abit hard to understand, but I think he is trying to say that PCI-E 2.0 at present will not increase the framerates because there isn't a card that fully utilise the extra bandwidth.I think that's what he meant.
