PCMCIA video card

Hey all, I have heard rumors of new video cards that connect to a laptop's PCMCIA slot either through some sort of adapter that converts to PCI or perhaps even directly in. :confused:Is this real?:confused: Any information would be appreciated.

There are some PCMCIA video cards and once there was word of some sort of converter for PCI Express cards(probably used express cards rather than PCMCIA). However, both of these would require external monitors. As far as I know, the video cards are really to extend your desktop. They do not perform well for games or anything of the sort...
