PD 940 vs. P4 541 HT, Opinions?

Will I notice that much of a difference between a Pentium 4 541 and a Pentium D 940? I am gonna upgrade my current PC which is the Pentium 4 541, and then I am gonna wait until late summer to build a new C2D or C2Q system.

not worth it. save it for some ups on ur core2 system

Yes I agree with Bradan. Even though performance will be a little bit better, its not worth it if you are planning to upgrade to a C2D anyway
