Both of them are close in specs and around 100 dollars.

PDA - ebay - Dell Axim X30 - 624mhz XScale (ARM Processor) - 64MB ram - like 2hours battery - Windows mobile

or

MiniNetbook - NEW - Cherrypal Africa 7" - 400 mhz (ARM) - 256mb ram. - 4 hours battery - Windows CE

On both of these, I'm not going to upgrade anything.

Which should I buy?

I would go with the mini notebook. Seems more like an actual computer plus the battery time is a big deal depending on what you're doing with it.

I find myself using my iPhone when I'm out and about versus my Netbook, so I say go for a PDA.

Do you have a cell phone? Scrap it and get something through verizon or whoever you have. You can get pdas starting at $50 with a contract, and then upgrade to have internet access anywhere.
