pdf converter

I'm looking for a pdf converter that converts from jpeg to pdf. I have about 500 old jpeg files that were scanned and I want to convert them over to pdf. What is the best way? I have Office 2010 and an ADS 2000 Brothers scanner but I thank I might have to buy the software. Any suggestions?
 
cutepdf is a free pdf writer.

Add's itself as a printer so you print to pdf. Could be a pain though if you have a lot of them. Don't think it has any batch options.
 
It's been awhile but when I bought a scanner it came with OCR software that does that.
Just search for free OCR software since I doubt my cheap scanner had a high dollar version.
