I am currently a graphic design student and am wanting to make a portfolio of work I have made outside of school projects to show to potential employers. I know that most designers have their own website in which they show their work, but I recently viewed a YouTube video in which this person made a PDF file of his work, which he uploaded to ibooks on his iPad pro to show that way. Though I didn't care much for his rambling on in the video (because I am the type of person who would rather just look at someone's work), I kind of liked his idea and am now thinking of making a PDF file of my own work. Is this a good idea. I know that PDFs are a very good file format because they can be read on many different devices such as tablets and computers, but other then that I don't know how good of a file format they would be for making a digital portfolio.
