Peggle Nighs Lag

Does anyone here have any idea why peggle would lag on any decent computer? I have a dual core at 3.2 GHz and a gig of ram. I am running vista so that could be why I just find it funny how it only need 256 mb of ram and it lags beyond belief on my gig.

That's definitely supposed to be Nights in the title. Typo lol. Sorry.

You're going to want more than just a gig of RAM when playing any decent game with Vista. Peggle shouldn't matter too much, but Vista alone really needs a gig of RAM just to run the OS.

Oh wow. Maybe thats why my computer is awful. I tried to install two more gigs of ram a while back and it kept shutting off. I'm buying a new computer soon so I'm just going to deal with this computer for now. Thanks though.

Reason for it shutting off was one of the sticks was faulty or not put in all the way which can actually happen.

Try reinstalling but with 1 stick at a time....might get lucky.
