I took apart my parents aging Pentium II system today, when I got a look at the CPU, my brain couldn't comprehend. I thought it would be neat to share them with you guys.

What is your brain so incapable of comprehending? I have 386's, 486's, 586's, etc that I run. Even though I have to use that blasted win3.1

Here's a 486 processor that I pulled out of an IBM PS/2:

And it also had a nice fan on the side of the case, something that I had never seen in old computers:

I really like that fan, but I don't know what type of battery/PSU connection it uses. Anybody know???

I think he was suprised to see a slot processor instead of the 'normal' socketed chips

What is wrong with slot processors? I use a slot1 processor quite regularly...600MHz is good enough for me
