Pentium III 450 PC or AMD-K6 3D Processor whats better

im sure the k6-3 was pretty quick for its time but i know that the pIII was a very good performer too.

*edit* just looked at an old web page and it says that the pIII is marginally better, ive also heard they overclock well if thats your thing

Yea, now the K-6 III were good processors for there time, had a K-6 III 450 and a Pen III 500, The K-6 III would dust it in all but a few programs, the L1 and L2 helped it alot, plus if you had a Super 7 board with 1mb on board it would have 64k L1- 256l L2 and 1mb of L3, guess the K-6 III+ was the forunner of the Athlon
