pentium m and 4 whats the difference and which is better??

Pentium M is intels lower power version far laptops. The pentium M behaves more like an AMD however because an 2Ghz pentium M can compete with 2.8Ghz pentium 4's. Most people use M's when they want a really really quiet computer because it creates much less heat.

Pentium 4 is still better for desktops because it can go to much higher clock speeds.

pentium m has way more battery life. pentium 4 eats batteries.

yes P4 is cheap but u'll be short of battery life and pentium M is costly but u get good battery life and less noise and heat. So if u opt for a p4 then get an xtraaaaa battery.
