Performance boost or not?

lousy computer...I have a hp with a pci slot only..300w power supply and a nvidia 6200 card...I was wondering if an 8400 pci would be any better for gaming? I was hoping for something that would be close to a 6800 but i guess I'm out of luck:(

Yeah it'd be a little bit better, I can't imagine that would play any of today's games though... What do you mean by you were "hoping for something that would be close to a 6800 but i guess i'm out of luck"?
 
Nope, sorry man not enough. Even if you could get a strong enough card, I'm sure that PC has like a crappy pentium 4 CPU and the cpu will bottleneck the card huge.

You need a whole new system man. Takes about $400-500 to build a PC capable of 95% of games.
