performance increase?

im asking about my g6-333 in my signature. it has 384mb ram and runs xp pro pretty fast. when my 128mb geforce mx4000 arrives and i put it in, what kind of speed increase am i looking at?

As far as I know the card won't give you a performance boost in terms of increased speed with apps. Now of you're talking games, you'll only get performance in graphics and whatnot. If you want better overall perfomance, buy some more RAM. Instant performance.
 
Well it could speen up your games and even some apps depending what was in it and what your putting in it my comp has a NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE and my friend let me use his video card (sorry cant remeber the name of it) but it made Gunz: Online and Lineage 2 run much faster and much smoother I am orderinged one for my self now and I just got my new comp 4 days ago :) But maybe its only high end games with realistic graphics that take up that much room.
 
It actually could increase overall speed. If you were using integrated graphics before and that was using some of your RAM. Now you have a card with dedicated memory which will free up some system RAM. I dont think it will be a big performance increase.
