Permissions Question

Hi, I am trying to run a program that I just installed on my XP Pro SP2 computer but when I double-click the exe I'm getting denied access. The user account that I am using, (my name) is an administrator account. The file and parent folder are both marked as "read only" but I can't change them. I have "Full Control" permissions.

I don't have an answer for your problem. I'll be watching this because ive seen it many times. I will say ive always suggested creating more than one admin profile. If you did then start up the other profile. if you didn't try to create another profile. if that does not work then try to start up in safe mode and create another profile. if you can i would create more than one then delete bad profile. this is the only thing i can think of.
