pf usage

PF = Page File. It's virtual memory which acts like RAM, but used hard drive space. And it's much, much slower then standard RAM.

Even though you only have those two other apps open, Windows uses alot of files and data, and it has to store it someplace where it can be accessed quickly. Normally you wont see 300MB's if you dont have much or anything open, but since you dont have much RAM, it has to stick more in the PF.
