I'll be going back over to his house to try and straighten all this out either on Sunday or Monday. I guess I'll try and flash the bios for him, although I seem to remember the bios download not really liking the 64 bit Vista. I'm not sure but I won't do anything stupid lol. I'll check around on it before too.
I don't know how to adjust the multiplier, but if anyone does, please let me know and I'll try that first. I'd like to try everything else before I do anything with the bios. Last time I did a bios thing on our hp ( I don't remember the reason), I ended up having to reinstall windows.
