photo editing monitors

What monitors do you use for your photo editing?

I'm thinking of getting a monitor purely for my photo editing. Does anyone else use special monitors for photo editing or buy one with that in mind?

I'm thinking of getting a ASUS ML239H which is an IPS. Would i get more out of it than a standard normal pc monitor?

What do you guys do.

Honestly anything IPS is the way to go. You can also get away with monitors that support wide color gamut, they still look pretty nice.
The advantage to IPS is it's very good at color reproduction, as well as some other things, but they don't matter as much for photo editing, such as large viewing angles.
