Photo Tourny: Landscapes

When I mean landscapes I prefer less than more buildings or man made structures. I'm going for all natural here.

Playing this tournament is simple:

A photo tournament involves 11 participants (maximum). The winner of the last tournament will give a theme, and those who want to participate will post their pictures (Only one per person). If entering a slightly computer manipulated photo, please post the original along with it so users who are voting can see the difference.

After 11 participants have entered the tournament, a second thread will be made in the Off Topic section with a poll to vote on the pictures.

The winner will simply be the one who gets the most votes. He/she will then create another thread in which they propose a different theme for the next tournament.

Some Rules:
- No spot saving; you will only be counted if you have a picture submitted.
- Only one picture may be posted at a time, if you decide to change it, please edit the original post.
- No posting an image that has previously won a competition.
- Resize your pictures to no larger than 1280 x 1024.

Tournaments will have 4 days of voting.

Thats not really a landscape..landscape pictures are of large areas of land. .

Well all the definitions I have looked up disagree with that statement. Most say its up for interpretation cause different photographer consider different things to be a landscape. It's you tourney though, so what ever you say goes.

Well yes, every photographer is gonna consider their pictures to "belong" to different themes. But as a group, we have to arrive to a consensus, otherwise we could post whatever we wanted. I agree that your picture does not belong. But again, my opinion is nothing more than that. By the way, that's a killer shot, Dale :good:

Yeah I agree there. Every photographer is different, which makes it hard some times. I'll change mine I found one I like better, which should fit the theme better as well. Also thanks man.

Huh, I didn't realize it had such a broad definition. Your new one does fit what I was thinking though, sorry for the confusion.

I changed mine for ya ;)

Heheh, thanks man. That one is much better suited methinks :)
