Photos re-appearing

On my Windows 8.1 Lenovo lap top I have a photo app, this show pictures rolling through which is fine. However some I have deleted but strangely they still appear strolling through even though they are no longer in my pictures file.

Could someone please advise how I can get rid of these please,

Did you empty the recycle bin after deleting them?

Picture problems

I had not done so, however I have now and restarted the computer and the deleted pictures are still rolling through the photo app.

Really frustrating.

The photo app you are using may have a cache saved somewhere. Might want to check the settings of the app.

The app came with the computer.

The app came with the computer on my home screen - nt sure how to reach the cashe settings.

Sorry I dont have any idea what the photo app is, it came with the computer.
How can I establish which app it is and is there a better photo app I could use.
