Photoshop from downstairs to upstairs?

Its because when you install the program, it adds registry entries to the registry, when you copy the folder you arnt getting the registries. There may also be some files that are in the "system" folder on the downstairs computer.

Unless you want to go searching throught the registry and system folder to find annd the bits and pieces, you will probably have to install it on the upstairs computer from a CD. And if you bought it, you should have the CD.
 
And it is probably illegal, unless you have paid for 2 liscences of it, as geoff said just install it from the cd, and if you don't have that it is very likely that you can download it from the adobe website

Actually, your able to download the demo from the Adobe Website, and as long as your paid for the software you can use that CD-Key when it asks you during installation.
