photoslideshow on loop on dual monitor

I have a dual monitor setup but would like to set up a way that all my photos i'm taking will continuously play through on the second monitor while i work on the first - kinda like having a monitor to work on and the second as a digital photo frame but i can still use it when i want to. I can't do screensaver i don't think as i couldn't do it just for the one monitor.

Any suggestions?
Confused i'll try explain better.

Just open the program and drag to other screen. and run the program to cycle through the pictures. Then just open a new program for editing dragging to the other screen and edit.

When editing i put the original on one screen and start a new occurrence of the program and edit the picture on the other so i can see what change has happened.

I've tried doing that with viewnx but as soon as i open a program on the other monitor the slideshow stops on the second one.

I don't know. Its not uncommon like with watching local news for me on one monitor and doing what ever on the other.
Always checking CNN etc and maybe checking here. i do not have any problems.
