Physics X

okay, but how does it perform when like 20 dudes are in your base shooting you with all kinds of exploding weapons with particle effects that require not only rendering, but physics.

I stand by the article I read on Tom's Hardware that phys x cards are just not worth the money. The article was like a year old though, and I haven't kept up. I am skeptic though and will believe it once I see it.

Also, if it is so awesome, why haven't huge studio developers adapted this technology into like 3D rendering? I mean it would have made (and reduced the time and the money) of making a movie like spider man 3 if they could render that well in real time.

Sounds kind of Hoax like to me.

just wondering.. but couldnt the Geforce 8800's calculate physics already too? (I read something about that somewhere,.. cant recall where tough)

You know in games like Crysis, will you need a Physics X card to be able to destroy the buildings and trees, or is that just in the game itself?

I said this more than 100 times

Crysis will not support physics card. Just do some research......

Ok thanks, :) Sorry, I haven't seen you post it before.

They do look like a waste of money, They don't even look as if they do that much, we have physics in games now that are really good/
