If so, Pick One Hard Drive ......

Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD3200AAKS 320GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s
$79.99

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3320620AS (Perpendicular Recording Technology) 320GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM
$79.99

SAMSUNG SpinPoint T Series HD321KJ 320GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM
$85.99

My pick is the Seagate !!!!

The micro atx model there allows for two sata drives. Simply pick a drive and run it. I'm afraid my choice here was two 500gb WD sata drives to go with two 250gb WD ide drives. I don't think I could make a random choice there. :P

I'll go with the Western Digital here, I have the 250GB version and it's a good drive, inaudible over the fans and good for large copy/paste operations. Pretty good for games too, but then, most drives are.

Will these sata drives work with my mobo ???

What wires will I need to hook it up.
My Mobo came a red Sata cable, is that all it needs ???

Let me know
thanks

That question was answered earlier. The shorter red cable is a data cable. Your supply should the flat type of power connector for sata drives. To see what that connector looks like and the comparison between Serial and Parallel ATA(ide or PATA) review the information at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SATA

The picture of what to look for on the board itself is also seen there. The size of the drive depends on how much space you will actually need. for a few games and other programs many go with a smaller drive. For video and large number of files you should have enough. Here I use one sata strictly for temporary storage and backup with the other for a separate OS from the primary ide. When plugging in the red cable that will go into the socket found on the right of the larger one for the power connector on the rear of the drive. The red cable then plugs into the sata master port on the board.
