pick one of these 7 cards for my system

Honestly your better off going for one of the new 8800GT's or waiting a couple weeks for the new 8800GTS's. Either will be better cards for the same amount of money or less.

This is coming from someone who just bought an 8800GTS 320mb superclocked. Its a great card don't get me wrong...its just... with newer faster cards coming out for the same price range, you might as well go with the newer faster cards.

Good thing I went with eVGA. Step-up program is nice. (within 90 days you can step up to a higher card for the price difference of what you paid for you card to what the new card costs).

sounds good, i don't mind waiting but why do all the gt's have ddr3 in the title?

will I be able to run it on a mobo using ddr2?

Im looking at the charts and it shows that the gts has way more "graphic performance" than the gt, and at almost the same price im confused why I should go for the gt.....:(

Hmmm, in every benchmark/review of the 8800GT that Ive seen its pretty much swept the floor with the current GTS's. It was only marginally off the 8800GTX. And the card is already out.

If you mean that GT is supposed to be less then GTS, its because NVidia is doing a complete revision of the 8800 series. The 8800GT was just added and new 8800GTS are supposed to come out in a couple of weeks. The new GTS are rumored to give the 8800 a run for its money, at a much lower price as well. They are just refreshing the 8800 line. When all is said and done I think it will be back in the correct ranks of GT, GTS, GTX, Ultra. But as of this moment right now its GTS, GT, GTX, Ultra but only for the 8800 series. Confusing I know.
