Pick the best laptop spec

I need a laptop for work, that's capable of having about 10 word documents open at once etc. etc.

I heard high RAM was a must have.

I have been looking around and found three laptops but I don't know enough about specs to tell which is the best, so if someone could just say 1, 2 or 3, I'd be very grateful :)

I'd go with 2. Any of those three would be more than capable of having 50 Word documents open and still be able to watch a video on YouTube while listening to music and chatting with a friend on Yahoo! Messenger. Gaming and advanced programs for graphics and architecture are some of the most demanding applications you'll run into. For typical office-type stuff, you should have no worries with any of these.

2 is the best and here is why. It has more RAM, and as far as the cpu is concerned the intel would be better for multi tasking.

the first one. an athlon II beats a pentium dual core

they most likely have 32 bit operating systems, so 4 gigs of ram wouldnt be any better than 3, since the extra gig wont be used anyways

Thank you for the replies, I'll eliminate option 3. But since it's 2-2 on option 1 or 2 I'll wait a while longer before I finally choose.

@ daisymtc - Thank you for the link to that laptop but I am in need of a laptop with a 17" due to my eyesight.
