Picking a laptop for college/gaming

Hi! I need some advice for getting a computer for college and hobby gaming. Just some basic outlines for what I would like:

-Long lasting and sturdy (has to get me through 4 yrs of college)
-Not HP...bad experiences with those computers
-Preferably i-5 or i-7
-At least 15'' screen
-Good battery life (don't want to mess with cords in class)
-Webcame
-Games I'll be playing will be L.O.L, CS:S, CS:GO(when it comes out), and TF2
-Budget's $700

I was browsing newegg and found these

Let me know what you think of these and if you have any other recommendations! Thanks!

Those are pretty good. If you're going to be doing some gaming, I'd recommend something without Intergrated graphics. One that has either an AMD or Nividia graphics card. But those computers will still be able to play most games on low settings :).

No, they both might play CS:GO on the lowest settings with 20 FPS, but I don't even think that. Minecraft has extreme trouble on HD 3000, which is just a little worse than HD 4000. Just get the lenovo, but that still won't play most games with 60 FPS, but should play CSGO with 40 FPS on low. Want to play games on medium, with 60 FPS, get a $1200 Lappy.

Besides the Lenovo, do you have any recommendations with at least a 15'' screen? I don't really like having 14''

Ok thanks!
Plus, I was looking through performance tests and I'm seeing that the ivy bridge isn't all out outperforming sandy bridge...so I'm a bit hesitant about laying down extra money for the ivy when I could be putting it toward a better GPU.

Yeah I wouldn't go for Ivy. I mean it is slightly better but if I were you I would just save that money and spend it on the GPU instead, as you said :).
