Pictures.

So I used AxCrypt to lock my photos, then uninstalled it, and restarted. Now the pictures and audio files I locked to were in a format that when clicked it asked what program to use to open them. I chose Adobe album starter. I wanted them to be little thumbs and the audio turned into the same Adobe album starter format.


Would a system restore work?

Open Explorer window (my docs, My pics, etc) :

tools
folder options
file types tab
scroll for the file extension you want to change and select it(MP3, JPG etc)
at the bottom, click change
select the program you want to open it

If it did more then simply changing the file extensions, the only way to access them again is to download that program again and decrypt it.

I mean no offense, but why would you think you could encrypt files, and then open them with Adobe? The point of encrypting the pictures was so they cant be viewed.

I encrypted them so no one could view them at a LAN, then it was taking forever so I uninstalled it. And I thought adobe was the deaf ult image opener.

And I tested it on the music file first.

I still dont know what you were thinking.

You encrypted them so no one could view the images, so what made you think that you could view them with Adobe without decrypting them?
