i got 'high' ping on css and i keep getting kicked...... i have a lan party saturday...
my graphic card is bizveiw BV300 by diamond
 
Bit confusing, what are you asking? As for your ping and that goes it has nothing to do with your video card. You must be connecting to a server that you have a bad connection too. You wont have that issue at a LAN.
 
If you're mentioning the LAN party because you don't want to have the high ping for the LAN party, that's what I'm going to assume. What time are you playing, is it at relatively high traffic times of the day? Like Blue said, the ping has more to do with the speed of the connection than the power/speed of your computer as a whole. At a LAN party you might have to worry about the power of your card slowing you up, but do a single player map with some bots, and if it runs pretty smoothly, then you should a-ok!
 
yeah your almost never gonna get bad ping at a LAN party since your so close to the main server, unlike when you play over the Internet and you have to send your information (like firing a bullet) to the server through hundreds of different paths and servers to get to the destination, and some even get lost on the way there! this is what causes ping, there's really no fixing it if you already have a fast connection on your end, its either you to far from the server or its just a crappy server! o_0
