Does anyone know what might be causing the screen on a Acer monitor to have a pink tinge, for instance this page is showing as pink instead of white? I've tried adjusting the colour amd brightness.

Something like this happened to me when I tried hooking my PC up to my LCD tv. It was a problem with the computer trying to use a resolution the TV didn't support. Try changing your resolution and see if that helps matters.
Could also be a bad video cable.
Vic French - Having the same "pink monitor" thing going on with my desktop. My CPU is 2 years old and my flat screen monitor is 5 years old. I checked for graphics driver updates and found and installed one, but that didn't seem to fix the problem. Lots of outside suggestions for fixing the problem, but the best advice (IMO) came from Office Depot. They suggested buying one of their 22" flat screen monitors for $120 and then watching to see if the "pink screen" remained with the new monitor in place. If not, bring the new monitor back to them for a full refund - and then focus upon other possible solutions.
This is the way I plan to go whenever the screen turns pink for good - instead of being a frequent problem as it is now. Office Depot has a 14 day - no question - return policy. BTW, I am not affiliated with Office Depot. Nothing to gain her but to offer up another suggestion.
