Pink Screen

I have installed Mafia 2 on Windows 7 and everytime I try to load the game my screen goes pink. I have updated my graphics driver and still the problem persists so I am now guessing my Graphics card is not good enough. Can someone confirm this and also if it is possible to buy a new graphics card for my Laptop.

Unless its a dedicated graphics card on a laptop, which I doubt it is, then you are out of luck. Is the laptop still under warranty? If so, send it in to have it checked out.

From what I have read here http://forums.2kgames.com/forums/showthread.php?84573-Cant-load-mafia-2-(-bought-in-steam-) it looks like you need dedicated graphics and that the game doesn't support mobile video chipsets.

just follow this simple method
download 3D analyzer
select the .exe game file
and in the vendor and device id select the numbers in either of the ATI but dont select nvidia it dosent work
finaly click the run button thatz it!
this worked for me!!!
