Pioneer DVD Writer problems

Hi guys,

Just built a new computer, using my old dvd writer from my previous computer. It's a Pioneer DVR-108.

Once in a while, about every 3rd or so disk that i burn, the progress bar in Nero will just remain at 1% or so, idle until like 30 minutes later when i receive an error message. In this idling stage, the burners light is off and all. Something about not performing endtrack and fixation occurs at the end. Here's the log file from Nero. http://pastebin.com/m3d04f72b

Do i have to buy another burner or can this be fixed?
 
have you tried burning with another software ? or maybe slow down you write speed ?
if there is no problem with your drive then this can be an issue with Nero itself
 
Thanks guys,

I've tried various media, i usually use Taiyo Yuden, which is believe is pretty good, and none of them have worked.

I also tried burning at 4x and it still didn't work.

I'll try deepburner and get back to you guys, thanks for the reply!
