Planning OC, how does it look?

I am planning a possible OC for my new system. Here are the specs:

2GB DDR2 800 G.Skill
X2 3800+ Windsor
Biostar TForce 550


Here is a plausible OC that I am hoping for on stock cooling:

Multiplier: 10
HTT: 240
HT Multiplier: 4x
Vcore: 1.45v
CPU Speed:2.4GHZ
RAM Timings: 4-4-4-12
RAM Speed: 400MHZ


How does it look? You think it is plausible with these parts and stock cooling?

Seems ok, just make sure you get there bit by bit, and not just a leap to those speeds. I'd get a new heatsink if I were you though. Gotta stay cool

yeah, definately careful! ill check to see my temps with 1.45v and stock speeds and then increase from there. I am trying to get the best out of the stock cooling for now.

any other input?

yea. stop overclocking when your temps reach 35C and then put your cpu under a huge load. if it doesnt get any haigher than 55C then its ok to stay there or go a little higher

should I initially raise the Vcore to 1.45 and then go with slowly rasing the HTT, or should i slowly raise the HTT and raise the Vcore as needed?

Raise the vcore only when necessary, try to keep it as low as possible.
