Play Chess Via Modem

Do u know any chess program that has the ability to play using direct connection via modem? (like hyper terminal)

i've searched google and i found nothing. help me , i need it!

direct connect hmm... good question... have a gander at this:

it says you can use it over a TCP/IP network

But u know , iwanted something that work with modem to modem protocol
that i call my friend directly by modem . just like windows' hyper terminal

I see what you mean, but surely wouldn't it just be easier to use the program which danlatimer suggested, as if you were to dial directly in wouldn't it charge you the standard call rate
