Play Oblivion on Radeon 9250

Well, The 9600 is better than the 5600, right?(fx line sucked), so I'm thinking he could set it to similar graphics and pull off better framerates. If it were me I'd still play it. I have friends that play this game on x300's and 6200's, and they dont seem to have any less fun than I do (although I really like the fact that I can have some of the nicer features on). I guess in the end it's in a matter of preference.

That is with good frame rates(can't give you an exact number, since the new version of ATI tool doesn't have an FPS indicator option anymore...), though I can assure you it's completely playable.

Since the 6800GT is better than the X700 Pro, you should be getting better graphics than this, so I wouldn't say it runs slow on a 6800GT

Well, it's overclocked a bit, if that makes much of a difference. I'm quite impressed with it. well, off to play some more Oblivion:P
 
my mate plays oblivian with the same radion card but if i remember right he downloaded a patch to allow him to play it on older cards

I do not know where you got that out of what you he said. But it is not necessary to accuse anyway.

My mistake rayZa... I misread your post. Please forgive, sorry. I thought you said that you thought he downloaded "Oblivion" I now see you said "Oldblivion". Again very sorry.
