playing avi files with vista

Ive just got new computer with windows vista and when i try to play with windows media. it just gives the audio is there is there away to fix this?

Probably you don't have any codecs installed, download cccp, if that doesn't fix your computer then nothing will until there is a SP1 for vista http://www.cccp-project.net/
