Playing Get Freeze!

i was playing Left 4 Dead yesterday chapter 5 till 4:00 afternoon i shutdown the computer then next day i was playing 2k12 and i see my computer lag a little bit.. then i try to play left 4 dead then Chapter 1 computer freeze and i try again in chapter 2 it works but i play like stop dance ( Help

Processor: Intel(D) Pentium(R) D Core 2.66Ghz (2 CPU's) 2.7 GHz
Memory:512mb
VideoCard:256

Left for dead system requirements says 1gb of memory for XP, you only have 512mb. You really need to increase your memory to say 2gb if you can. And thats nba 2012 it also requires 1gb of memory with 3gb recommended.

yeah but yesterday i was play well no lag but all high detaila i choose low.
