Playing PS2 on a PC

Simple question, can i play my PS2 on my PC and if so, what do i need? thanks

you can add a PS2 to your PC monitor. I doubt you can find a PS2/PC emulator though, as you would need to somehow integrate a PS2 reading device. Maybe it can be done though...

sorry for being dumb, but how can i hook my playstation 2 too my pc monitor? cause that's really all i want, since my wife wants to use the tv all the time. :D

and what is a emulator? is that waht i need to actually run the PS2 through the pc?

Yeah

To monitor? Okay, yeah, use VGA adaptor.

Oh, and an "emulator" is a program that is used to play games (rom's, read-only memory (game files in this case)). It emulates (immitates, mimics) the video game system (console). Sometimes it may take a few minutes to play a game with the least or no lag cuz ya gotta mess about wit da settings a little.

GO VGA!!!!!!

im playing N64 with my keyboard, its very good actually when u get used to the controls

Jusy buy the LCD screen i have - its is a Samsung Syncmaster 150mp -Has a computer adapter(VGA), tv tuner, video/audio (red, white, yellow), and s-video

I use Project 64 version 1.5. I like to crank up the resolution to 1280x768, I think, while playing Zelda OoT or Majora's Mask. With a few adjustments in the graphics properties of filling, rates, and rendering, the graphics are absolutely awesome! They are almost as eye-candy clear and good as the Game Cube!

Now, if you were playing on a real N64, the TV resolution would never come close to the emulator, even if you had a full S-video cable.

By the way, Project 64 is one of the most excellent I've ever used, considering solidness of programming and BUILT-IN cheats from automatic online databases. You can check-mark-click cheats in the toolbar menu (when in windowed mode) to see a huge list of cheats. Cool ones like "Press L to levitate", or "Run game in Beta Mode (programmer-mode). It is awesome to explore hidden polygons, scrapped models, infinite voids, not to mention fly around and find glitches! (You can fly over to Guerudo's Fortress as child Link to get in!) It is fun to let Link fall 100 feet screaming, then float back up and scream down again. Did I mention unlimited items, and adult Link, child Link equipment swapping? Oh the fun! :)

reminded me of dexter's lab lol if anyone watched that episode you'll know lol
