Playing PS2 on Computer Monitor?

I have an old computer monitor, a Gateway VX900 to be exact, and I want to Play my PS2 on it. What cables/connections do I need to do this? Also, I want to hook up the sound from the PS2 to a Boston Acoustics MediaTheater speaker system that came with the old computer(external subwoofer with two speakers). How do I do this?

P.S. I don't know that much about computers and all the technical stuff that goes along with them, so I'd appreciate if you simplify your explaination.

I dunno if that monitor is capable of it directly without interfacing from a computer ... if you have a monitor that takes BNC component you can hack it out :)
