playing ps2 on computer

i just recently bought hp pav zd8000 and it came with a free tv tuner. but i dont know how to play ps2 on my computer. i dont know what to do in media center since i have never used it before. i need help setting it up.
 
If you mean like play station 2 I dont think you can do that becasue the tv cant take signals and put them in a pc. If ps2 means something else than please explain.
 
my laptop came with a tv tuner box that lets you hook up ps2. i even asked the guy at comp usa and he said i can hook it up. only problem is that i dont know how to set it up once its hooked up.
 
Oh I misunderstood I see what you mean now... Thats probably posible but I dont know how to do it. Do you mean using the laptop as a screen?
 
Just pluf the coax plugin from th ps2 into the tv tuner, turn on the tv program that came with the card/computer... and walla... You may need a coax to rca converter is you dont have or cant find the ps2 to coax plugin...
 
i was wondering how to do that with my xbox, it should defintily be able to work because its like plugging a satellite box into ur tv tuner card. Same cords.
 
i tried playin gcn on media center with an rf modulator

u can, but u cant because it takes about 2 seconds for teh signal to get from the controller to the screen

thats y u need the emulator
