I will be gaming with this computer, mainly D3 and SC2 with some other mid-high (not extreme) level graphics requirements. You will not be able to talk me out of the i7, I want this computer to be boss for 4-5 yrs while only adding the same graphics card to run two and maybe doubling the ram eventually. I'll also add a SSD and just run the OS on that.

I am interested in any advice which will be more cost effective or more bang for the same dollar.

Thanks so much!

It is all good except that hard drive is slow, only 5900 RPM. I'd go for this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148840 I know it's only 1TB and not 1.5TB, but really I reckon a 1TB disk would be enough and this 1TB drive runs at 7200 RPM, much faster than the 5900 RPM the other drive runs at. :)

It's all good stuff other than that!

Yeah I'll switch to the faster hdd. I am mainly concerned that the i7 i have selected can be improved or more cost effective if I pick one without a build in graphics engine or whatever

I'd say the 2600K is pretty much all you'd need and more. It was the cheapest i7. It's over 100 bucks cheaper than the newer 3770K and it performs just as well.
