I posted a thread simialar a couple days ago and no one responded. I am new to building computers and will be putting a rig together fairly soon. My question is do I need an extra cables or will everything I need come with the components I order. Thanks.
 
If you talking about IDE and Sata cables, about all new retail boards come with 1 IDE and 2 to 4 Sata cables. Most retail Video cards come with a PCIe power adaptor and VGA to DVI connectors.
 
I'm new to building too and I almost bought some OEM stuff without realizing what it was. So just keep you eye out for that.
