Please give opinions on this build

I'm planning to build my computer using these parts. Please give me any suggestions. I want it to be a pretty high-end desktop and I do play all the newest games on their highest settings. I also burn a lot of DVDs. So how does this set-up look? I plan on going shopping later today, so please help out. I'm going to run Windows 7 Ultimate, by the way.

Is there any RAM that is faster? Any input on this build would be GREATLY appreciated. All comments are welcome. Thanks a lot.

A 980x is overkill for gaming, but if you do any sort of rendering work it will be blazing fast. You also haven't chosen a graphics card, so this is my recommendation:

That RAM is really fast already. with fast ram like that you might need to manually configure the speed, voltage and timings. are you familiar/comfortable doing this?
