please give opinions on this build

this computer is going to be used mainly for internet/email use. no crazy games are going to be played, but i decided to make the computer a little more high-end because i'm building this for my uncle who wants it to be futureproof for a few years. these are the specs. also, please recommend a motherboard if you don't like this one for some reason. also, please recommend a case (with USB 3.0 ports). i chose this one just to choose one, but he doesn't really want a case with lights in it. so please recommend a case and motherboard and/or any other changes you would make.

It looks good, but if there isn't going to be much gaming you could probably save some money and go with the i5-2400 or 2500k.

Also, 2TB HDD?! I wouldn't know what to do with all that room. :P

I couldnt find a hdd that was 7200 rpm though that had somewhere between 500 gigs and 1 terabyte. Any recommendations?

There ya go for the HDD, that saves $100 right there. And it is overkill because you're building a high-end gaming rig, but it won't be used for much gaming. You could cut down the cost by plenty by going with lower end parts that will still do your tasks, email and internet.

Bare drive means it comes with only the hard drive. (no cables, probably no manuals) The motherboard or psu should come with the cables necessary.

As for the mobo itself it looks good, i might want it for my gaming rig. :cool:
But you could definitely lower the price if that isn't the direction you're going with.(gaming and such)

Well, im trying to future-proof it a little for my uncle. My setup is ok to overclock right? (in case I ever want to)
 
I need to order the parts today. Can anyone recommend a case that will work for me that doesnt have a bunch of lights on the inside?
 
I couldn't help ya out with the case, don't have much experience with them. Your best bet would be to look at the ones you like, and select one with good ratings.
